LET THERE BE LIGHT is a complete 78-card tarot deck–22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana–designed to explore the eternal tension between light and darkness, good and evil, both in the world and within the human soul.

From that origin, humanity has waged a constant inner and outer battle between illumination and shadow. Light has always symbolized wisdom, hope, and moral clarity, while darkness lures with mystery, seduction, and chaos.

LET THERE BE LIGHT does not shy away from this duality. Each card in the deck is black on the outside and white on the inside, symbolizing the subconscious fear of darkness and the hidden presence of light within. Paradoxically, the only fully white card in the deck is Death, representing not despair, but the peace and transformation that comes with the end of a cycle–a return to harmony.

The triangular design of the deck reflects the human tendency to seek balance through symbolic triads: Wisdom–Strength–Beauty, Past–Present–Future, Birth–Maturity–Death. These sacred structures serve as guides in navigating life’s moral, emotional, and spiritual complexities.

The graphic black-and-white aesthetic amplifies the deck’s core metaphor: the interplay of light and shadow. The black back of each card symbolizes the unknown; the white symbol that appears when flipped represents insight–light breaking through the darkness.

Through this symbolic contrast, LET THERE BE LIGHT transforms the act of reading tarot into a poetic encounter with Fate itself. It is a meditation on the human condition, offering the hope that even within the darkest depths, light always endures.
